We all have a special purpose to our lives. . A unique  love or interest that  places on the top of our priority list. For me, that love and purpose is my true admiration and love for animals. Since I was a little girl, my joy has come from being with and communicating with animals from wildlife to cats and dogs . I believe all creatures deserve to be able to share our earth along side us with respect and gentleness.  I founded the Anam Cara Animal Sanctuary after rescuing a half dozen lovable felines from a home that was to be demolished and found they all were to be mommys. Being I was just moving into a home with lots of land, I chose to give them a home for life. That is where my story begins. We now care for 45  cats and 12 dogs .. Keeping a modest lifestyle and  a strict budget, we manage to house, feed , vaccinate, spay/neuteur, spoil and love all of them everyday!! We are registered with the State of Pa . as a charitable organization and our Certificate number is  27794** Thank you for visiting my animal family and please look over our wish list .
